This course was structured as an internship or individual research project.  Students interned at a public agency, financial institution, private development company or a nonprofit organization actively involved in real estate.  The course was designed to provide participants hands-on experience working with real estate and real estate-related issues.  Internship responsibilities included development feasibility, financial analysis, market research, project management, asset management, policy review and industry studies.  Individual research projects were conducted under the supervision of at least one MSRED faculty advisor.
