Materials + Methods in Architecture

Building Science + Technology

Spring 2013

Keith Kaseman, instructor

This seminar and workshop was geared to develop and then amplify a keen level of sophistication with which one may both comprehend and deploy concrete in the world. Individual participants were tasked with performing pointed research within a given range of topics. Students covered immense ground with these weekly presentations, scrutinizing procedures, details and strategies cast into concrete while considering critical contexts from which these concrete applications sprung. All submitted materials were compiled in an open-source format with material ranging from written summaries, outlined points, references, images and relevant contacts.
